GENERAL SUMMARY
The role of the Finance Manager is to coordinate and oversee the financial functions of Friendship to ensure business effectiveness and continuous improvement of the church’s overall financial plans, policies, and activities. These processes must be aligned with the church’s mission, vision, and values. Additionally, the Finance Manager is responsible for the following items:

Salary and Benefits: Salary range is $58,500 - 62,500, Health Insurance, Retirement Savings Plan, and Selected Training expenses.

I. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Banking, budgeting, audit, tax accounting, financial reporting, contributions, and investments.
- Ensuring fiscal accountability is maintained, financial reports are accurate, meaningful, and prepared on a timely basis.
- Serving as the chief accountant for the church and working with outside CPA to ensure the provision of consistent, accurate, timely, and compliant accounting.
- Ensuring the integrity of the church’s general ledger and financial records while leading and coordinating the annual audit of the church’s accounting records.
- Responsible for tax reporting and compliance.

III. QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Budgeting, or Finance
- Three years of Accounting and Finance experience
- Strong analytical abilities Be an innovative thinker who takes the initiative and achieves problem resolutions
- MBA
- 5+ years of Accounting and Finance
- 3-5 years of management experience in the business or non-profit sector
- Knowledge of Church financial software.
- Human Resource Management experience
