Greetings Friendship family!

Good day, Friendship family. I greet you in the strong and saving name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We are stepping into a new month, and what a month it is. March was busy, but it was a good month. We experienced highs and lows. We celebrated, and we also grieved. And that is the reality of life in community. As a church, we do not walk through life alone. We walk together. We rejoice together, and we weep together. And through it all, God has been faithful.

Our forty days of Lent are coming to an end, and I want to thank every one of you who participated. Thank you to those who showed up daily for 12 noon prayer. Thank you to those who led us in prayer. Thank you for your discipline, your sacrifice, and your spiritual commitment. I truly believe you are better because of it, and I believe Friendship is better because of your faithfulness.

And now I need to say this. I am excited. This is my favorite time of the year. We are in Holy Week. That brings us to our announcements for the upcoming weeks. 

Here are this week's announcements:
MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE
Holy Week officially began with Palm Sunday, but our full emphasis begins tonight with our Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 PM. This is a sacred time where we reflect on Christ’s final gathering with His disciples before the cross. In John’s gospel in the Bible, Jesus washed His disciples’ feet during the Lord's Supper, as they celebrated Passover.  During tonight's service we will observe Foot Washing and The Lord's Supper. As it will be explained during the service, Pastor Curry symbolically reminds us of Christ's humility by washing the feet of representatives of our Faith community.  
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICES - NOON AND 7:30 PM
Tomorrow is Good Friday, and we will have two opportunities to worship. At 12 noon, here at Friendship, we will gather for a powerful service. Rev. Chrystopher Grundy will serve as our lecturer, Rev. Kennedy Young will preach, and De’Ante Duckett will lead us in worship. Then at 7:00 PM, we will travel to Christ Second Baptist Church in Long Beach. Pastor Curry will serve as lecturer, and our Mass Choir will minister in song.
NO MONTHLY FAMILY PRAYER SERVICE
Please note, because of these services, we will not have 12 noon prayer on Friday, and we will not have our First Friday evening prayer gathering.  We ask that you to pray wherever you are, and we hope that you will join us in worship during this sacred time.
This is a holy week. Let us enter it prayerfully, expectantly, and with hearts ready to serve.
RESURRECTION SUNDAY SERVICE
On Sunday, April 5, we celebrate Resurrection Sunday. We will have three services, 5:30 AM for our Sunrise Service, and then 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Communion will be served at all three services.

At the Sunrise Service, our Men’s Choir, the Wrecking Crew, will minister in song. And at the 8:00 and 11:30 services, our Mass Choir and Dance Ministry will lead us in worship. Come ready to celebrate. Come ready to worship. And bring someone with you. Invite someone to experience the power of the risen Christ.

At 10:00 AM, come support our children and youth at the Easter Program.  The children and youth have worked hard on their speeches and lines and will also minister in song.
Our children will have their resurrection celebration during Children's Worship at 11:30 AM. They will play games, do crafts, and other activities to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. The egg hunt will also take place during this time.

And remember: Communion is for believers. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, we ask that you refrain from partaking, this is a biblical instruction.
KINGDOM WIVES
Kingdom Wives, we want to invite all wives and women engaged to be married to join us for our Kingdom Wives class. This group meets on the first and third Saturdays of each month, which means our next gatherings will be on Saturday, April 4 and Saturday, April 18 at 9:00 AM. All sessions are held online for your convenience. Their current theme is Lead with Love. In a world where relationships can be stretched and strained, this study calls us back to God’s design for covenant love, a love that strengthens, sustains, and endures. Ladies, if you desire to grow in your faith, deepen your relationships, and gain practical biblical wisdom for real life, this class is for you. They would love to have you join them. YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY - RESUMES TUESDAY
Our next session of young adult Bible study begins on Tuesday, April  @ 7:30 PM.  Join in as we journey through "Experiencing God: God's Invitation to Young Adults."  If you are a young adult searching for God's will and practical advice as you seek answers to important life decisions, this interactive Bible study is for you.  Take this invitation to embrace a full life through Him as you join His work throughout the world.
2026 LEAD ACADEMY
Our LEAD Academy begins Thursday, April 9. This is our fifth cohort, and we are excited about what God is doing through leadership development here at Friendship. SIDE-BY-SIDE COUPLES MINISTRY
On Friday, April 10, at 7:00 PM, our Side by Side Couples Ministry will meet online. Married, engaged, and seriously dating couples, this is a great opportunity for you to grow together through biblical teaching and practical wisdom. Our current study is What Happy Couples Know, by Andy Stanley. We will gather online at 7 p.m. via zoom. HERMENEUTICS CLASS
On Saturday, April 11, at 12 noon, Part #2 of The Hermeneutics class scheduled to begin. The class will be held virtually on Saturday Mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The registration is now open.  If you are wondering about having not attended Part #1 do not let that stop you from joining the class. This twelve week session will begin with an overview of Part#1 and then focus on the New Testament books and making proper application of God’s word in and to our current cultural context.
PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT BIBLE STUDY
On Tuesday, April 14, at 10:00 AM, our Precept Upon Precept Bible study will begin a new study in the book of Revelation. This is a great opportunity to go deeper into the Word. Precept Upon Precept is an opportunity for you to learn how to observe, interpret, and apply God's Word to your life. COLLEGE & CAREER PREPARATION INITIATIVE PLANNING MEETING
Right after the Leadership Meeting, join the College and Career Vision Planning Initiative (CCPI) Planning Meeting.  We'll come together to inspire, equip, and prepare the next generation for their future. This will be a meaningful and energetic time of brainstorming, visioning, and building opportunities to guide our young people toward college, careers, and God’s purpose for their lives.Our youth need caring adults who will pour into them, encourage them, and help them dream big. Let’s come together in faith, love, and vision as we begin planning for the bright futures of the youth at Friendship Baptist Church.
WORSHIP AT THE ORANGE COUNTY RESCUE MISSION
I'm excited to share that Friendship is going to lead a worship service at the Village of Hope Chapel at the Orange County Rescue Mission on Saturday, April 18th at 6:30 PM.  Our Mass Choir will sing and Pastor Curry will preach.  The chapel services are designed for the residents of the Rescue Mission who came into the program homeless and jobless individuals and families who have gone through rehab and are now ready to change their lives.  You are invited to come worship with us, but we only have capacity for 30 individuals outside of our ministry team.  So if you would like to attend, please tap the picture above to register.
NEW WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

NEW SINGLES BIBLE STUDY

CHRIST CHILDREN'S CENTER
As you know, we are awaiting our final permit to begin the work to create the Christ Children's Center.. We are asking you to partner with us as we build Christ’s Children’s Center. This will be a dedicated, safe, and joy-filled space where our children can learn, worship, and grow. The children’s building and the adjoining playground will allow us to offer age-appropriate teaching, meaningful activities, and an engaging space designed just for them. Your giving helps us build for the next generation.

  • WEEKLY HEALTH WALK 
    Remember,  Health Care Ministry is sponsoring a weekly Health Walk every Saturday             from 7:00 am to 7:35 am led by Rev. Aubrey Craig and Sister Sandra Jones. This is a 30-       minute walk. The walking group will meet on the corner of Bastanchury Road and Rose         Drive.  If you want to participate, show up with water and energy snacks.   • IN-PERSON EX-HOUR: 
     We invite you to stay after the first service or come earlier for the second service to               attend EX-Hour in person. Remember, we have five adult classes meeting in person on        campus a Young Adult Class, a Youth Class and Children's Classes.

  • FRIENDSHIP FOOD BANK OPEN: The Friendship Food Bank is OPEN with a new drive-thru system where our clients will receive a pre-packaged food box and a bag of groceries.  The Food Bank’s hours of operation are Tuesday - Thursday, 2:30 pm-4:30 pm.

Family, as we move through this season, I want you to remember this. God is with us.

We continue to make progress on our campus. The Fellowship Hall and Event Center are moving forward. The parking lot project has begun. And we are preparing for the next phase, the Children’s Building.

This is a season of growth. This is a season of movement. And we are moving forward together by God’s grace.

Maundy Thursday is a day where we remember the Last Supper and the last night Jesus spent with His disciples before He gave His life for us. Please join us for a special service on Apr. 2nd, at 7:00pm here at Friendship.

Good Friday

Join us on Friday, April 3rd, for Good Friday service at 12:00pm on our campus. Pastor Chrystopher Grundy will serve as the guest lecturer, and Pastor Kennedy Young will be the guest speaker. Then at 7:00 pm, join us for the service at Christ Second Baptist Church in Long Beach, where Pastor Curry will be the guest lecturer. You do not need to hold a current leadership role or title within the church to participate. We especially welcome young adults and those aspiring to lead.

LEAD ACADEMY

Coming in April!  LEAD (Leadership Excellence and Development) Academy Will begin on April 9, 2026. LEAD Academy is for all existing and aspiring leaders. This course offers meaningful discussion, readings, training videos, mentorship, and more - all in a hybrid learning environment (in-person, online, and self-study). You do not need to hold a current leadership role or title within the church to participate. We especially welcome young adults and those aspiring to lead.

Come join us for a night of The Gospel through poetry.  We will meet in the Basement of the Carrington Bldg.  We have Several local artists that will be sharing their visions and the Gospel.  Bring a friend or two—Bonus if they have not accepted Christ .

The tradition of Ash Wednesday is rooted in the Old Testament, where individuals wore sackcloth and ashes as asign of mourning or repentance. Lent is a time to remember our dire human condition, our utter lostness and inability to save ourselves, and then to celebrate the One who gave it all to rescue us from it.

● Subsplash/Online Giving:  Sub-Splash, the last date of transmission for 2025 is December 31, 2025. Therefore, we recommend that members who want to give electronically for 2025 do so no later than Sunday, December 28, 2025. Please note that we do not control when Subsplash processes the   giving batches.
 
● In-Person Giving during Worship Services: Contributions given on Sunday, December 28th, will be counted and credited in 2025. Giving on December 31st during Watch Night Service will be  counted on January 2nd and credited in 2025.
 
● Concerning mailed giving: All financial gifts postmarked December 31, 2025, will be processed for 2025.

2025 Year-End Contribution Statements
 
The Contribution Statement request forms are now available in the reception area of the Carrington Building. Please fill out a “blue” contribution request form and drop it in the box. You can also scan the QR code to request your statement. Statements  requested will be postmarked and mailed no later than January 31, 2026. Contribution Statements will only be sent to those who complete a request form. If you have any questions, please contact Leigha Carrington at leighac@wearefriendship.church or 714-579-7072.
 
● Subsplash/Online Giving:  Sub-Splash, the last date of transmission for 2025 is December 31, 2025. Therefore, we recommend that members who want to give electronically for 2025 do so no later than Sunday, December 28, 2025. Please note that we do not control when Subsplash processes the   giving batches.
 
● In-Person Giving during Worship Services: Contributions given on Sunday, December 28th, will be counted and credited in 2025. Giving on December 31st during Watch Night Service will be  counted on January 2nd and credited in 2025.
 
● Concerning mailed giving: All financial gifts postmarked December 31, 2025, will be processed for 2025.

It is our desire to make sure all members, family and friends are prayed for here at Friendship Baptist Church.  We believe in the power of God, who hears and answers prayer. The Bible says… “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.”

In order for us to get all prayer requests ready for prayer during Sunday services, we ask that you call or send in your prayer request before Friday morning. Requests sent in after Friday will be on the following week’s prayer list. Greetings Friendship family!

Good day, Friendship family! We are now entering the last month of the year. Can you believe that 2025 will be over in roughly twenty-six days? Twenty-six days. Think about that. Can you even remember how we started this year? Do you remember everything that has transpired?

It has been a year of ups and downs. A year of blessings and burdens. A year where we have laughed together and cried together. A year where we have buried loved ones and celebrated new beginnings. We have seen growth, change, progress, and challenges. Through it all, God has kept us. Through it all, God has sustained us. Through it all, God has proved Himself faithful again and again. Family, it has been a year!

And today, I want you to know this is our last video announcement for the year. I think so. So thank you for watching and staying connected each month.

I also want to say this. I missed being with you for the last Sunday of November and the first Sunday of Advent. That has not happened since I have been your pastor. But Lady Karima and I needed to get away. With everything going on, I needed to rest. Thank you for praying for us, covering us, and giving us space to breathe. We love you, and we are grateful.

MONTHLY FAMILY PRAYER SERVICE
Join us tonight, December 5th, for Family Prayer in person in the sanctuary from 7:30 to 9:00 PM. This is our final Family Prayer gathering for the year. I would love to see you and pray with you. Let’s finish strong in prayer. Join us for prayer & praise.
CHURCH STEWARDSHIP MEETING
Then, tomorrow morning, December 6th, I look forward to seeing you for our Stewardship Meeting at 10 AM. This is a full church meeting. We will review this year, present and vote on the 2026 budget, and even take tours through the new building. I need you there. Your input matters. Your presence matters.
CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRY CHRISTMAS PARTY - DECEMBER 14 @ 11:30 AM
UPDATE: On December 14, our Children and Youth Ministry will host a Christmas Party for ages three to seventeen during Children's and Youth Worship. This will also be a time to celebrate with the young people and appreciate our Children and Youth volunteers. . Come for fun, food, fellowship, and Christmas joy.
COMMUNION SUNDAY SERVICE
Please note that this Sunday is High Church Sunday. Our last one of the year. I look forward to the deacons leading us in worship, communion in community, the morning hymn, and simply the blessing of gathering together. I hope to see you in the house. Remember, we start 15 minutes earlier and begin with the Deacons leading Devotion.

Now we have four Sundays left in this year. And this Sunday is also a Bring the Whole-Tithe Sunday where we bring a honest tithe to the Lord, trusting His provision and protection! We have had a strong financial year, and for that we praise God. But we need to meet our full 2025 budget goal. To do so we still need to raise $350,000. Friendship Family, we can do it. We need a strong finish because we have strong faith. Thank you for your generosity and your commitment.

RHEMA MENS'S MINISTRY - GUYS NIGHT OUT
Are you ready for some football and fun? The Rhema Men’s Ministry invites all the men and boys of Friendship to a Year’s End Tailgating Party on Monday, December 8 from 6 to 8 PM. We will have the game on. We will have a trivia contest. We will play games. And of course, we will eat. It is a potluck, so men, bring your best side dish. Dads, bring your sons. Moms, send your boys. Let’s come together and celebrate the year and pray for the men of Friendship.

CHRISTMAS SERVICE - DECEMBER 21
Everyone needs to plan to join us on Sunday, December 21 at 8:00 AM & 11:30 AM for Christmas Sunday. It promises to be all the way live. Great music, a great message, and great ministry with dance, spoken, choirs, many other surprises to engage the spirit and encourage your heart. Come and be blessed and bring someone with you.
SCHOLARSHIP MINISTRY MOVIE OUTING

GIVING TUESDAY - CHRIST CHILDREN'S CENTER
As you know, Giving Tuesday happened earlier this week, but we want to highlight this again. We are asking you to partner with us, especially with your year-end giving, as we build Christ’s Children’s Center. This will be a dedicated, safe, and joy-filled space where our children can learn, worship, and grow. The children’s building and the adjoining playground will allow us to offer age-appropriate teaching, meaningful activities, and an engaging space designed just for them. Your giving helps us build for the next generation.

    Remember,  Health Care Ministry is sponsoring a weekly Health Walk every Saturday             from 7:00 am to 7:35 am led by Rev. Aubrey Craig and Sister Sandra Jones. This is a 30-       minute walk. The walking group will meet on the corner of Bastanchury Road and Rose         Drive.  If you want to participate, show up with water and energy snacks. Looking ahead, join us for Watch Night Service as we celebrate with the East Coast. Service starts at 7:00 PM and ends just after 9:00 PM, which is midnight on the East Coast. Watch Night is our historic and sacred tradition of ending the year in worship, reflection, gratitude, and expectation. Come and bring the family.

As we move into these final days of the year, I want to remind you of something simple but true. God has carried us. God has kept us. God has covered us. Everything we have walked through, we walked through together, and God walked with us. So lift your head. Strengthen your heart. And take courage as we finish this year. The same God who brought us this far will take us further.

Family, I love you. I really do. But God loves you best, God loves you better, and God loves you beyond anything you can imagine or think. Stay encouraged, stay prayerful, and stay faithful. God is with us, and greater things are still ahead.

This is your friendly reminder that Mens Bible Study will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 7:30 pm via zoom.
The RHEMA Men's Ministry is about God's ideal of Manhood.   As men we purpose to come together for spiritual empowerment. Our primary goal is to help men grow in their relationship with God and build deep friendships with other godly men in hopes of developing spiritually stronger men, husbands, fathers, families and churches. In our discipleship efforts we employ the small group model in  facilitating the growth of solid and deeper friendships with other men.

WOMEN'S AND SINGLES MINISTRY

Just in time for the holiday season – Gifts From The Kitchen.  We are pleased to announce Sis. Sybella Patten, recipient of the 2025 Top of the Show award, will be leading an instructional session on food dehydration. Together with the UC Master Food Preservers of Orange County, Sis. Sybella will demonstrate how to create packaged comfort foods from dehydrated ingredients, suitable for gifting to family and friends. Attendees will receive recipes for Snowman Soup Mix (Hot Chocolate Mix), Sweet Potato Pie Spice Mix, and Soup in a Jar Mix. These recipes also serve as excellent options for emergency preparedness or camping trips.

Participants will gain foundational knowledge in food dehydration techniques, enabling them to preserve garden-fresh produce, fruits, and herbs for year-round enjoyment.

YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY -  Abundance: Living Responsibly With God's Gifts will guide us into the biblical understanding of abundant life and help us sort out many of the faithful and practical issues that come together in a life of abundance.  Seven chapters offer Bible verses and discussion questions about "a life of joy," "material abundance," "over-indulgence," "Living simply," "money," "ways in which we are handled by our stuff," and "ethics." We'll wrestle with our personal finances, seeking always to discern the will of God.

Fortunately, if we will only have ears to hear, we are blessed with an abundance of biblical guidance. For Jesus really did have a preoccupation with wealth, speaking of money five times as often as prayer. YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY -  Abundance: Living Responsibly With God's Gifts will guide us into the biblical understanding of abundant life and help us sort out many of the faithful and practical issues that come together in a life of abundance.  Seven chapters offer Bible verses and discussion questions about "a life of joy," "material abundance," "over-indulgence," "Living simply," "money," "ways in which we are handled by our stuff," and "ethics." We'll wrestle with our personal finances, seeking always to discern the will of God.

Fortunately, if we will only have ears to hear, we are blessed with an abundance of biblical guidance. For Jesus really did have a preoccupation with wealth, speaking of money five times as often as prayer. Of course, his interest in wealth was not in its pursuit, but in the danger it can pose to Christian discipleship. Sign up HERE.

MEN'S MINISTRY

This is your friendly reminder that Mens Bible Study will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 7:30 pm via zoom.
The RHEMA Men's Ministry is about God's ideal of Manhood.   As men we purpose to come together for spiritual empowerment. Our primary goal is to help men grow in their relationship with God and build deep friendships with other godly men in hopes of developing spiritually stronger men, husbands, fathers, families and churches. In our discipleship efforts we employ the small group model in  facilitating the growth of solid and deeper friendships with other men.

WOMEN'S AND SINGLES MINISTRY

Just in time for the holiday season – Gifts From The Kitchen.  We are pleased to announce Sis. Sybella Patten, recipient of the 2025 Top of the Show award, will be leading an instructional session on food dehydration. Together with the UC Master Food Preservers of Orange County, Sis. Sybella will demonstrate how to create packaged comfort foods from dehydrated ingredients, suitable for gifting to family and friends. Attendees will receive recipes for Snowman Soup Mix (Hot Chocolate Mix), Sweet Potato Pie Spice Mix, and Soup in a Jar Mix. These recipes also serve as excellent options for emergency preparedness or camping trips.

Participants will gain foundational knowledge in food dehydration techniques, enabling them to preserve garden-fresh produce, fruits, and herbs for year-round enjoyment.

Greetings Friendship family!

Can you believe it? We are entering the second-to-last month of the year. 2025 will be over in roughly 60 days. Time has flown by, and the Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 5:15–16 to “walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

That phrase, redeeming the time, means making the most of every opportunity God gives us. It’s about using our time wisely, valuing our relationships, and aligning our priorities with God’s purpose. We redeem time when we worship, when we serve, when we give, and when we forgive.

We redeem time when we strengthen our families, grow in faith, and bless others with the gifts God has given us.

As we approach the end of the year and enter the last 60 days. I pray that you will redeem time in the areas most significant for you. Ask God how you might do it and then apply yourself to redeeming the time.

Friends, I’ll be honest with you, October has taken a toll on me. I traveled three out of the five weeks this month, and I’m tired. But even in the fatigue, I’m reminded that God is faithful.

This month has been hard for our church family as well. We mourn the passing of Deacon Roger Wright, who went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 15th, and Brother Richard Campbell, who transitioned on October 21st. It’s been a rough month, but through it all, God remains in control, and His grace has kept us. It’s been a rough month, but through it all, God remains in control, and His grace has kept us. As we process our grief and navigate life’s many transitions, may we remember the God who is faithful in every season, steady in every storm, and present in every situation. Amen.

HARVEST FEST -TONIGHT!
Tonight’s the night! Today is October 31st, and this evening, beginning at 6:30 PM, we will have our Harvest Festival and Chili Cook-Off here on our campus. This is a joyful time for our families and youth to celebrate safely and in community. Come out and enjoy games, food, and fellowship, and bring someone with you!

MONTHLY FAMILY PRAYER SERVICE
Please note, normally, our Prayer Meeting would take place online on this evening. However, because of our Harvest Festival, we’re encouraging everyone to find 30 minutes today to pray wherever you are, at home, at work, or even on the go, and then join us on campus for the fun and fellowship this evening.

Our November prayer focus is “Expressing Gratitude for God’s Provision.” Let’s take time to thank God for how He’s kept us, provided for us, and sustained us all year long.
BOY SCOUT PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER
Tomorrow morning, Saturday, November 1st, 8:00 AM, we invite everyone to join our Boy Scout Troop 1803 for their Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. The minimum donation is $10. It’s a great way to enjoy a hearty meal, connect with families, and support our Scouts. All proceeds go toward their 2025 Scouting activities.

COMMUNION SUNDAY SERVICE
Sunday, November 2, is First Sunday Worship. Join us and let’s partake in Holy Communion with reverence and purpose.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS MEETING - THIS SUNDAY
All members of our First Impressions Ministry, that’s our greeters, ushers, and hospitality teams, are invited to attend our All Hands Meeting this Sunday, November 2nd, from 9:55–10:55 AM. It will be short, sweet, and fun as we prepare for the next season of ministry.
Join me this Sunday, November 2nd after the 11:30 AM worship service for an End-of-Life Planning Workshop, part of our 90-Day Stewardship Initiative. We’ll meet on the 2nd floor of the Carrington Building to discuss practical and spiritual ways to prepare for life’s final transition. It’s about caring for your family and planning wisely. I encourage every adult to attend.

MORTUARIES IN THE QUAD
Then, next Sunday, November 9th, between services, we will have representatives from various local mortuaries on campus to provide information and resources to help our members learn more about funeral planning. This is part of our commitment to helping families plan wisely and prepare with peace of mind.
RHEMA MENS MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP
Brothers, the Men’s Fellowship resumes on Monday, November 7th, at 7:00 PM. We are back from Sabbath Rest and ready to dive into a new series: “God’s Uncommon Man.” Join the RHEMA Men’s Ministry as we continue in this powerful video series that features James Brown and Tony Dungy, who will be helping us unpack what it means to be a man who follows God faithfully. SINGLES MINISTRY FALL BIBLE STUDY
Singles, you’re invited to our Fall Bible Study titled “Renewal: Grace and Redemption in the Story of Ruth.” This six-week series from RightNow Media will help you rediscover God’s plan and purpose for your life and relationships. There is an exciting hands-on Food Dehydration Workshop coming on Saturday, November 22nd, at 9 AM. We invite everyone to consider reading God’s Word this year! As of today, you have 62 days to complete a Bible reading plan, including today. At Friendship, we encourage every member to read one of six Bible reading plans in the year. Consider joining a Bible-reading small group that will be starting soon! The plans include:

✔ The Pentateuch (or the first five books of the Old Testament),
✔ The entire Old Testament,
✔ The Gospels (or the first four books of the New Testament),
✔ The entire New Testament, and
✔ Psalms and Proverbs (3 times)

  • WEEKLY HEALTH WALK 
    Remember,  Health Care Ministry is sponsoring a weekly Health Walk every Saturday             from 7:00 am to 7:35 am led by Rev. Aubrey Craig and Sister Sandra Jones. This is a 30-       minute walk. The walking group will meet on the corner of Bastanchury Road and Rose         Drive.  If you want to participate, show up with water and energy snacks.   • IN-PERSON EX-HOUR: 
     We invite you to stay after the first service or come earlier for the second service to               attend EX-Hour in person. Remember, we have five adult classes meeting in person on        campus a Young Adult Class, a Youth Class and Children's Classes.

  • FRIENDSHIP FOOD BANK OPEN: The Friendship Food Bank is OPEN with a new drive-thru system where our clients will receive a pre-packaged food box and a bag of groceries.  The Food Bank’s hours of operation are Tuesday - Thursday, 2:30 pm-4:30 pm.  
Family, as we move into this new month and closer to the end of the year, let’s finish strong. Let’s remain committed to our Stewardship Challenge Initiative, keep giving, keep serving, and keep showing up. God is moving on our campus, the new Fellowship Hall and Event Center is making wonderful progress, and the solar canopies are coming along quickly. God is doing great things!

Let’s continue to redeem the time, to make every day count for His glory. I love you, Friendship, and I’m grateful to serve alongside you. God bless you, and let’s keep advancing and expanding for God’s glory alone!
